On May 17th, at the Centro Stile in Turin, the new Alfa Romeo Giulia Radiomobile 2.0 Turbo 200 HP was presented, designed for use by the Carabinieri for territory control.

The vehicle is equipped with advanced technological elements, including transparent materials provided by Isoclima: bulletproof windshield, side windows, and rear window in a shatterproof version.

These new Alfa Romeo Giulias strengthen the long-standing partnership between Alfa Romeo and the Carabinieri, which began after World War II when all “Gazzelle” (police cars) were equipped with the Biscione brand.

The first Alfa Romeo vehicle used by the Carabinieri was the 1900 M Matta in 1951. A year later, the 1900 sedan gave birth to the “Gazzella.” In the Carabinieri’s language, the Gazzella represents a concept of rapid response: fast, agile, and resilient.

We are proud to continue our long-standing partnership with the STELLANTIS Group and contribute to the protection of vehicles dedicated to law enforcement agencies.
